Need some replacement head phones , was thinking of buying some Sennheiser CX300 from Amazon for 15.99 , are these better quality than the ipod supplied headphones ?

I recently bought some Sennheiser CX300 from ebay for £9 inc p&p, new.

They fit in nice and snug and no matter how hard I shook my head, they didn't come out. Fantastic. Highly recommended and I haven't even used them on the bike yet! They have different sized fittings so should accomodate for the (freaky) large/smaller than average ear sizes.

I bought a pair of Shure e3c from amazon for £50 (sadly back to 79.99 now) when on offer. The deal was highlighted on the "hotukdeals" website. Good site for bargains, discount codes etc.
Anyway the site forum comments for the headphones may be of interest to you as there were a few reviews of similar headphones to the ones you mentioned, lot of useful info from owners, see link below

I wanted something for the satnav on the bike, so got some CX300 from e-blay, £13-99 IIRC. Then I spotted some cheap Koss (advertised as for Ipod Mp3 Nano, can't find exact model ref) ones for £8 and thought I'd have some of those too, no big loss if they're junk.

The Koss are significantly better than the Sennheisers IMO, better frequency range. Glad I didn't pay £30 odd at full retail for the CX300. The Senns are smaller though and fit under the helmet better, so use them on the bike.

Anything will be better than the orginal supplied headphones they really are rubbish IMHO.

I've got a pair of over the ear Senheisers, PX100 I think they are and I'm really impressed with the sound quality and comfort of them.
