was in france last w/e and saw a fixed camera w/three fat blobs of spraypaint over the cameras and flash... was happy to see the animosity toward "the man" is universal!

In Preston they were trying some new digital cameras. They were only in place a couple of days and the local paper said about them being a new technology, first in country etc.

They were then pinched. It was alleged that it was for the geeks to develop detection methods.

Gatso's are generally placed for revenue generation. However, 90% I see are in plain view and if you get caught by one of these you deserve to be done simply as a result of your poor observation.

I would much rather return to traffic coppers who can enforce all road laws, that a gatso with no discretion of about speed

I can see why the speed cameras are vandalized but not the red light ones. Having been a victim of a red light crosser in the past, I think they are well worth having.

Well the one who took me out, certainly crossed a red light. How do I know it was red?. Well I was already stopped at it, and his car was parked on the far side of the lights when I regained conciousness.

There are red light jumpers and "That car behind me isn't going to stop, oh fluff, round we go"
Shouldn't ever go through red lights, but I have slowed and stopped for them while in a bright red van and cars behind have slammed the brakes on to not go into the back of me.
Friend saw a scammer van go straight into the back of a "boy racer" in a VW Golf GTi when he stopped for the lights. Pity he didn't get any photos of it. (Windscreen on the van ended up in front of the VW!)

i allways said to my mates when ya goin to weigh a car in give it to me first and i take out a speed cam then weigh it in.

there about 30 of them in total in slough.

reading worst they everywhere.
