Anyone ever has fines sent over from Europe? I drove back lastnight from Denmark and got flashed coming through Germany on the on/off ramps. Also got flashed going up a few weeks back... was wondering if they will catch up to me or not as I know some EU countries cooperate with fines & points.

Found this article from December last year.

Mind you, we've not heard of anyone who has been flashed by a speed camera abroad this year getting fined.................ourselves included:D

I drive a truck for a living. I work for a Belgian company and if I get caught in Belgium then the company pass the fines on to me. The only other place in Europe I have had any fines from was Germany. They have an office in Manchester who deal specifically with foreign motoring fines.

Dont worry, the fine is easy to understand as its written in English:) The advantage is that you will not get any points on your licence. YET!!!

and if you refuse to pay idoubt there is anyhting they can do as they have no way of forcing you to pay through courts or debt colllectors.

when we had a telephone bill from deutch telecom follow us to England just f*cked it off knowing they wont do anything about it.

hope i never have to go back to Germany!!
