a bit steep, £1800 for a 99 reg with 24000 on the clock.
I honestly can't see where he's spent £5,000 on it. The forks are pitted and the torque arm is all rusty too:D
It's a SV650S not a naked version.
It's a SV650S not a naked version.
That could explain why the radiator guard isn't fitted..................they won't fit the radiator of an S afaik:D

I don't normally comment on these but this one made me laugh. £1800 is a high ask for a crashed S model.
I am concerned about the paint 'professional' paint job as I've seen a naked Corona Alstare before and it looked alot better than a couple of badly positioned stickers on a yellow bike.
I am also interested in what makes the brakes 'upgraded' on this, cause as far as I can tell they are the standard calipers and discs, the lines are not even braided?

I quite like that scorpion can - bet it sounds f**king angry at full chat too! :smt076
I honestly can't see where he's spent £5,000 on it.
That was my thoughts too.
Although, if it was an 'S' then things do mount up - like when i converted mine.
But £5k! Naaah, yer havin a laugh aintcha? :smt108

Has anyone noticed he didn't bother to take off the fairing brackets after crashing and streetfightering it. The headlights are a little pointless too. They would only light up the front tyre (look where they're pointing).
I'd say that's a quick tart up job so he can flog it.
£5k my ar*se.

engine tuning £35
Now that is comedy. But if its for real I'm starting to feel sorry for the guy.
I got a VFR resprayed (fully faired) for under £500, the exhaust looks like a cut down can from eBay, c.£100 and a bit of time with a Dremel. As for the undertray only Rumble Imports come close to that, it looks like one of the £50 trays again from eBay and it would take me 5 minutes to fit it. The cowl is £50 IIRC from Suzuki.
But the best bit; engine tuning for £35 come on I want details of the 'tune'...
Was this you Hovis?
...
no................ but i have asked a Q
I wonder why he never replied to the HPI part of the question?
Anyway, if the poor bloke actually paid that for the bits done to the bike he was ripped off and knows nothing.
Now that is comedy.

its been into F1s at Brands Hatch and had the timing tuned when the exhaust was fitted to accompany the exhaust,
yorkie_chris

Because we all know how much your timing needs tuning when the exhaust is changed...
Full engine remap for £35 - What's the address? I'll go there in the morning.
But £95 for dog bones
£268 for Tyres

020s are about £200 for the pair, circa 80 for a front and 120 for a rear, as for £35 for engine work that might be a K&N filter.
pickNIG on him??? doubt it

Ir does say "Immaculate throughout".
What about the rusty torque arm and scabby forks?
Surely "average condition for year" is more accurate.
It always annoys me when people, usually dealers, put Mint condition when the vehicle clearly is not.:smt067
can have mine for less than that...........& i will put a rizla sticker on it, turning it into an rizla factory works bike:rolleyes:
new avatar Hovis i take it thats the new bike NICE...
when you gonna paint it yellow

im not, although i am looking for a 97 yellow, black & purple blade
Undertray and decals came off ebay looking at his feedback, as did a few other parts like the handlebar pad and grips. Total cost about £60 I reckon.
He's also sold a load of SV650 front end bits, so it does look as if he did it deliberately. Christ only knows why, but he did.

As WRCsixtythree i totally agree with him, i have also been through the feedback and can see thats from what he's saying is clearly a con, the majority of parts are off ebay. The exhuast was 70 not 375 and he had it cut down, humppphhhh!
Well spotted mate
He just trying a quick profit, i doubt he had the bike long either. Plus all the fairing parts have been sold off as well according to feedback
