my bike has done 3.5K so i've booked her in for the 4k service. only problem is i booked the service for the 17th of sept as i'm off work and got the time to take it etc.... i'm off on holiday the week before it goes in. but this leaves me 2 weeks with only 450 miles to play with!

if the bike was to go in to get serviced with 4.2/3k on it would this make the warrany void?!?! or would i get a small ammount of grace!

I think plus or minus a few hundred is fine especially if you're doing it early and not late.

Bikes for the most part will be run in by 1000 miles but things don't tend to rattle loose like they used to in the days of the 600-1000 mile run in service.

Basically the important thing on the first service is to get the initiall oil out because it will be well beaten up from the run in. When in doubt just ring them to find out the Suzuki policy
