Could someone plz tell me what OEM stands for when they put it on their signatures, much appreciated.

Could someone plz tell me what OEM stands for when they put it on their signatures, much appreciated.

In computing terms it means Original Equipment Manufacture/r/d? I think when referring to a bike it means using original parts rather than those from a 3rd party.
