1pr of Dymag 3 spoke mag wheels in anthracite to suit a Carby SV (will fit injected with carbt discs and 7mm spacer between speedo drive and fork leg)

They came off a road bike, never been crashed and not marked from loads of tyre changes, but a bit scruffy due to the prev owners inability to clean them with some corrosion around the disc mount, but still perfectly useable.

3.5 front and 4.5 rear with a new 520 45t sprocket
£500

Someone buy 'em FFS :) SV lightweight wheels are rare as rocking horse poo at any price. Dymag do a full reconditioning service if the appearance of these ones puts you off, and they're still a bargain. I used to be a light wheel skeptic till I fitted my front dymag (same model wheel, but mine is off a Fireblade since, as mentioned, SV ones are impossible to find).

Ive checked the bearings and theyre the same as the SV ie you cant fit a larger bearing so 17mm is the max spindle size on the front, so if you've got a GSXR front end then you'll need a spindle and 'nut' making

What difference is noticed?

Well, first a disclaimer- I don't ride hard enough to get the full benefit, and my front forks being a little worn out are preventing me from getting at all of the roadholding advantages of the reduced unsprung weight as yet (job for someone better than me to be honest). I'm wasting its potential just to be honest, but that's OK, it still does good.

Basically, it makes it easier to turn the bike, without any instability downsides at all- sort of like longer bars do, but without the disadvantages of size and reach, and exagerrated movements. It just makes the whole bike seem lighter when on the move. That doesn't sound like such a huge deal when I write it down but I had the SRAD wheel back in for a few days last week and I kept on running wide in basically every corner on my commute :smt087

And this is from basically a total amateur :) A better suspension setup and a better/braver rider would no doubt see a load more benefit.

A guy I know has a Falco and fitted the Oz wheels off a MilleR and said he couldn't believe how much better it turns in.

My Sv has wavy discs and I believe that turns in quicker too. I would love these wheels for that very reason but can't afford them.:smt022

TBH unless its a colourchange I wouldn't bother with the refurb, have a look at them first
