Phoned Bennetts again this morning and was told that all
the information I was given yesterday was incorrect (not the truth).
Apparently my refund has not been authorised yet because my certificate
has not arrived or I did not send it back (I sent it back over two weeks ago)
Now they will send me a lost certificate declaration which I must sign and
return to a special address because they have moved (is that why they lost
the one I sent back ?). all this is a blatant attempt to keep my £125.52 for
as long as they can!
Up to now I have had three Bennetts call center persons who have not told the truth and each time have contradicted what the previous one said.
I would hate to think what it would be like making a claim with Bennetts.
My opinion is that Bennetts spend far too much money on advertising and then try to recuperate it with cheap systems and inadequate customer service.
STAY WELL AWAY FROM BENNETTS.
Going off to play with my blue K5 naked now to try and calm down.

Dont let them get to you. You have learned a valuable lesson through your experience. Keep copies of everything and always get names of customer service staff.

Yep, our thoughts too. Totally fobbed off every time, and like you said pretty much lied to us to avoid any kind of payout/settlement.

They made a point of not giving us names (or in one case a false name!) of call centre staff/supervisors etc. We phoned back and asked to speak to them, and were told no-one of that name was a supervisor.....oh, that really helped matters!!!!!!

Enjoy ur rideout, and dont take out your pent up agression on some poor motorist. ;)
