If you paint a blck hugger to colour match I'll come round your house and slap you silly. All huggers should be black. Fact!

Ha Ha, lol. I thought something along those lines but then saw a bandit at work in the same colour as my bike with a hugger colourmatched and it looked good, any pics to back up your rantings?

That's my point. It's supposed to look like just a big black tyre, not more bodywork. It think my POV also ties in with whether you like bikes jacked up at the back to increase the big empty space between tyre & bodywork.

Only with my height ... it's lowered

Right then ladies and gentlemen, I'm pleased I've stirred up a few opinions. I think we need some pics, preferably of pointy's with huggers in either black or colour matched?

It's coming in black? Why not just fit it & see how you get on with it?

Depends on the type. Some of the massive ones look like they should be colour matched. I prefer smaller black ones, though. Preferably matte black.

That's the plan for now Stu but I will still only know what it looks like in black then? I don't think matte black is a good idea for a hugger as matte black is still an absolute pig to clean and keep clean.

He's right. It should be descrete and only known to the owner and those with a keen eye...
