half two this afternoon coming off m4 j26 to right up malpas road, slowed at junction, nothing coming from my right so continue onto the rbt

started to turn into the corner when next nano second im on my back/front/side/knees/head... you know the score

first ever off. passed test 12 years ago after a while went back to just a car then back in april got me sv and rid of the car

perfect day too. cant think what im more pi$$ed off about, actually coming off or the state of billy :smt022

that road is a haven for speeders both car n bike. could have been a lot worse. scraped me right knee, blood bruise on belly above right hip and a grazed butt cheek. very lucky, heres how billy looks..........

Glad your largely ok, as you say, coulda been a lot worse.

no idea, just turned into the corner, felt like a bit of resistance going into the corner, then he tipped in then off.......

quick as a fart

Sorry to here about your off. If it's any consilation I've just had an off and my bike looks like yours does, I have a busted bone thrown in, so I know how you are feeling physically and mentally.

Hope you feel better soon and I am sure Billy will be sorted soon.

They should make roads out of hard foam stuff hee hee.

Yikes, that looks scarily familiar, did pretty much the same on mine at the end of July, just heard back and they had to write it off! £5500 worth of damage to a 1 month old £4700 bike! tuh.
but similar to yourself came off really lightly myself, just a grazed knee, (V lucky for work trousers) forearm and bruises.

which way did you go towards cwmbran or back into newport. I don't like the turn towards cwmbran (Malpas boy) and i go round the corner pretty slow and the roundabout is a bitch for people covering the Keep Clear markings which you can't see.

Still nothing beats a blast past kimberly park and i hope you and the bike get well soon.

im still iffy with the corner now

i was coming out of newport on the way back from the uni and there was a big fat lorry which blocked 1 1/2 lanes where the keep clear is. Luckily nothing was up the inside lane otherwise it was risky business time.
