Just sticking this down here (assuming I'm allowed!) as someone might fancy it. Just can't justify keeping it as it gets used for, oooh, 3 miles a week if it's lucky!

Smart motor. I've still not driven an R-type, but I've driven half a dozen variations of the standard one and I really like them.

I'll put some miles on it if you want and then you can justify keeping it as well, everyones a winner.

Looks awesome, great reputation, cant afford it though

why bread van?

Because there so quick they can get from the bakery to your doorstep whilst the bread is still warm...

Anyone got any major DOs and DONTs when it comes to selling a car? Bit concerned about the whole thing really...well just the last bit about swapping car for £££...

if you're lucky Northwind will give you the low down, but until....
1) Don't accept bankers drafts (they're all stolen or forged - fact!)
2) £50 notes, the red ink will always rub off real ones onto some white paper
3) Not easy I know, but if you can do the transaction in banking hours then get the cash out of your house ASAP & if you can get it into a bank before you hand over the car then you know all the cash is real :smt045
4) Don't let the buyer send the V5 to DVLA, do it yourself.

Oh dear god I wish I hadn't looked at this thread. I really wanted one of these before I bought the Ninja. Now I still really want one. I can't buy it though..........I really shouldn't buy it.....................I probably shouldn't buy it..................

What did it go for (phew!)

What did it go for (phew!)

It didn't go at all :( Fricking timewasting b4stards :( :( :(

Was looking for 9k for it, which is in my opinion a damn good price...ah well, time to go list it on Autotrader and look forward to 6 weeks of canvassing/timewasting phone calls. :(

I sosrt of jumped on my latest bike that I saw on ebay but convinced him to take it off. Looking lately I have seen the same bikes listed over and over and over. I won't bother when I flog mine I don't think although they do have a classifieds thing now.

Sold for £9k yippee!! Autotrader to the rescue (apart from the 20 or so canvassing calls and texts I got)...

Now common sense says I use the £ for a flat deposit...but I couuuulld go look at a street triple...no I really shouldn't.... :(
