Yellow curvy....rider was wearing no gloves #-o

Saw him/her twice in Kingston town centre one way system heading Surbiton way and then once again an hour and a half later Guildford bound. He may have been stalking me.

My first thought was Alpinestarhero, but i seem to remember he's in Brighton, isn't enough of a pillock to ride without gloves and it had no topbox. :p

So own up..was it you?

I also saw one of those MP3(?) scooters with 3 wheels in the flesh, for the first time today....i laughed at the rider at traffic lights

Saw a crashed bike just down the road from Fox's diner the other day. Think he had mucked up a wheelie/stoppie.

We stopped to see if the rider was ok.

He hadn't been wearing gloves.

He showed us his hand.

Yuck.

Did they cry?

He looked away but i can tell he felt ashamed.

Of course this is just a guess, but by looking at him he seemed the sort that just rode out of convenience and not for the love of it.

Typical middle aged man, probably still a virgin and has very few friends. Probably has lots of mechano and a model railway in his room. Invariably still lives with his mother and she still washes his smalls.

Judgemental....me....

Still better than riding without gloves

It was the perfect moment to redline it in first if i had a decent can. Its bothering me more and more. That would of completely compounded his shame and misery but at the same time given him a hard on.

Going OT(hey its my own thread) when Nick and i went to Brighton on Monday, we went through a tunnel and with the combination of Nicks Yoshimura and the 'zorst on the ninja behind me, i was actually in physical pain....i thought i had burst my ear drums.

I want some of that action

Sounds like the same one and it is the sort of thing an eccentric lecturer would ride!

Cool, I haven't heard Nick's new can yet have I?

You REALLY need a new can. As I have said before that stock one mings.

We've thought about getting some louder cans for the zed but the stock ones are so pretty that I can't bear to change them

I would of ordered it but there didnt seem much point as i wont be riding for a while. I'll probably organise one for myself so i can fit it just before i'm allowed to ride again. TBH it would probably depress me when i received it and couldn't hear/ride it.

Although it makes very little sense i have a hankering for a Ti Evo full system. Would cost prob over £1500 to get it fully set up etc. Its probably a waste of £'s but the idea wont go away.

You havn't said if you or you/ET are coming on the TV rideout on Saturday. I've ridden some of the roads and it looks a good route.

Hi all- Back on topic, it wasn't me- no lowers. And I ride with gloves.

I saw a yellow curvy with lowers and yellow healight covers in Worcester park the other day- heard it backfire coming up the hill and then the back wheel slid right out on a corner on the way out of WP towards Cheam. The rider had a very lucky escape there- and some skill in holding it together. And probably an extra pair of pants to wash that day... :D

Its not that far...some nice roads from Horsham as well.

Some other poor woman(or were there 2) have indicated interest in the TV section, so we have a satisfactory level of 'glamour'.

The lure of the sausage was too much...........

It's about 60 miles to High Wycombe. That would take me ages!

Like you said, there are potentially two other women going so I would be surplus to requirements anyway.

Just motorway it...on a Saturday morning it would be you and the tumbleweed.

I would offer to ride down and escort you, but won't as;

A- I'm no gentleman
B- There is no chance i would make it there without first getting lost

You could always let ET ride you up and then trick someone into taking him pillion....i reckon Nick may be gullible enough

As i recollect the driver of the yellow curvy had either a really faded red top/jacket on, or perhaps it was pink.

Hovis is looking a likely suspect.

I think the kid from uni had a similar jacket, i cant remember if it was one of those cheapy red-bull leather jackets though, but there was definatly red

Did it have a standard exhaust?
