you should have said "aye, but it's not my wing mirror i'm going to lose for being a tosser" - then just as he says "huh?" remove his offside mirror and ride away;)

See i used to agree with this, but as i ride more and more, I only think it makes bikers look bad and makes the normal public dislike us even more.

^^^
I see at least one person saw i was being facetious;)
obviously i'd never resort to doing anything like that, more likely just say to him "Well you're the one who'll be doing X years for death by dangerous driving, but you look like the type who enjoys a bit of attention in the showers"
then ride like the wind...
Or just remark on how you hope he enjoys the next 2 hours sat in that traffic jam, meanwhile your already home, having a beer and enjoying your evening :D Remind him of all the petrol he's using, the damage to the planet yadder blah.
Or just ride off, because we could sit there for ages telling him all the bad points of a car over a bike for commuting

You should have said, "Well, lets have a fight: It's fine because I'm not going to get hurt." Then dragged him out of his car and given him a shoeing.
His window was open. Do a burn out and choke him to death the smoke. :)

Personally a titanium knuckled backhand to his windscreen would have been my choice.
With luck it would crach/shatter and keep him off the road a while.

we got lost through central london last week trying to find soho sq, my mate had a mini-cab get a little too close, so i stern look and a clenched fist, and he montioned that he'd dent his bonnet if he didnt ease off...worked a treat:D...mind you he is 6ft '5...:smt103

A Kill-Switch Backfire through the open drivers window often offends* ;)
*can't do 'em on my Hornet even though it has carbs due to ECU-controlled fuel cut-off :(
Coming in to work tonight, I had a BMW cut right infront of me. Blasted my horn at him for a wee while then pulled up in the lane next to him at the next set of lights.
I had no intention whatsoever to say or do anything (I try my best to not give in to road rage), but happened to look in his direction and he was blowing kisses at me:p:p.
Maybe thats what we should all do. Blow kisses at the transgressors.:p

He was blowing kisses? Maybe pulling infront of you was a sort of flirting?

Guys n Girls, perhaps we should post details on offenders and their vehicle on these forums, get some "I nearly killed a biker stickers, and then when we see an offender, stick one of their vehicle. Then the whole world will know (well wherever they use their vehicle).

Have any of you ever tried to peel stickers from a sticker pad with gloves on before? :D

You only have to carry a few perhaps on your jacket or trouser leg and if they have a long tag there'll be easy to peel off.
