Guys,

I'm after a cheap as chips sv 1000 in any condition, cheaper the better...

Must be a straight frame and have V5 and both keys, other than that any condition accepted, but must be priced relistically for condition...

What you got? and I'm not interested in any 650's at all...

Big project?

I'm just after something to get to work on really, Ive got a Aprilia SXV for normal messing about on use/trackdays. It's just not ideal for daily riding to work otherwise id just stick with that.

Basically I wanted something fun to ride, hence the sv 1000 :) would ideally like a sv1000 with the normal bars and no front fairing, but i'm open to anything really...

I watching one on ebay thats 1800 buy it now but its got a bit of work that needs doing so not really worth 1800, i'll see how it goes, i'm gonna put a resonable bid on it

I suppose its more of a cheap project rather than a big one... :D

Personaly i think you will be hard pushed to find a solid sv1000 with history under £2000. But then we have spoken already.

its a nice bike you have, seems like you had done some good work on...

I was hoping for something a little less completed, and maybe a bit cheaper.

Well if you snooze you will lose another nice bike! sv1000s for under £2000 are rare beasts.

Guys your selling yours you would say that.... I dont see them rushing off the board with floods of offers...

Bottom line is.... crashed ones go for peanuts... i'm happy to wait for a crashed one if that what it takes...

I've bought several cashed bikes before i know what i'm talking about... from CBR's to R1's and fazer 1000.

Not to mention there was one that went on here for £1600 last week...

:-({|= about how i'll be waiting a long time will not sell yours any faster, as i said i'm happy to wait :) i've got the money and time, not to mention another bike to mess about on ;)

I dunno, but Cat D and Cat C's are roughly valued at 50-70% of the market value of nice clean bike. This Depening on repairs and how well its been done etc...

so i woudl guess its roughly £1600 - £2000 again depending how well its been repaired.

Looking at those pics it seems like a good job so will be top end of that range.

worth a punt :) i think....
