That you on the beach waiting for the tide to go out or will you use the ferry?

LOL, no i'm taking the easy way accross, on a boat

on a less amusing note, i actually managed to drop it about 5 minutes ago, on my own drive, trying to be a hero and push it up a small concrete step into the garage... backwards... so i could set off forwards tomorrow:rolleyes:

i now want to find the guy who makes R&G crash bungs and have his babies, there is not one mark on the bike, not a tiny scratch here, or a dent there, absolutely nothing, the bung looks a bit dented but that's it and she hops up and down the gears perfectly (fell on left hand side). the same cannot be said for me however, as i sit here tying this i can feel the blood dripping from my knee, that it would seem someone has been at with a cheese grater (pics to follow)

my knee should be healed in a week or so, perhaps i'll rent myself out, you pay me some cash, i cling to the side of your bike while you ride it and if it looks like you're going down i'll hurt myself, in the style of a president's bodyguard taking the bullet, under your fairings;)

ironically though it would appear the R&G on my bike managed to fair better than my knee:rolleyes:

heading down to visit my cousin near st ives, hoping the bike will help beat some of the traffic, the rest of my folks left at 2pm today and at 10pm they were passing the "now entering cornwall" signs:o

if your going across to Lymington then look out for my work, was working in the terminal bit yesterday and now it has made me want to go over to the island and ride it as i bumped into my mate queuing up for the ferry on his bike to go over for the weekend:smt010

Opening the new bit of the A30 has made a huge difference, no more crawling through Roche and across Goss Moor. I made it to Falmouth in 4.75 hours. Not bad...
