................or at least get rid of the slimy slug or snail that's residing in my lounge!!

Every morning over the past few weeks, I've noticed a slimy trail, at the base of one of my sofas. I've had a peek under and around the sofa, but can't spot anything. TBH, I've not really thoroughly searched for it 'cause I know I'll run a mile if I find it.

If I leave the light on all night, it obviously doesn't come out. But I know its there and I want it out.

Any suggestions to get rid of my very unwelcome spineless guest?

Trap a blackbird in your house, they eat molluscs. Alternatively, buy a ton of salt and cover everything in it.

Whatever you do, don't step on it in your bare feet. Not nearly as pleasant as you might think.

I have one (or more) of them. They come out at night so what you have to do is get up at 4am before they go back to their hiding place.

My electrics tripped and I couldn't find out what the problem was. I traced it to one wall socket, took the front off and found a small electrocuted slug between the terminals.

Anyone know what kind of slug poison to use if you have cats in the house?

get a dish of lager and leave it in your lounge over night they are ment to be attracted to it and then drown in it.

So this morning I got up at stupid o'clock to try and 'catch' this slug.

Spotted it. HUGE thing.

Shrieked and ran back upstairs to bed.

Will try the lager thing tonight.

Yes, but you wouldn't want the resulting mess on your carpet.

My question is this... why? Why go down and look for it if you where going to run back upstairs, and why run in the first place? ;) What do you think it will do to you, the last one I threw out of the back door at our place. With the cat chasing it, then washed my hands.

I had to move a toad out of my bike cover yesterday, seems to be our garden toad, as I've moved it a few times.

Yeah, daft aren't I!

Snakes I can deal with. Slimy creepy crawlies, not a chance.
