Just heard that Jane Tomlinson succumbed to her long battle with cancer at the age of 43 today, seven years after being told she only had 6 months to live, never met her or spoke to her but found her to be an absolute inspitation.
Rest in peace

May she RIP.

Just goes to show, doctors don't always get a prognosis right.

An inspiration to us all.

I hope that the press ghouls leave the family in peace.

Everything said before (and most probably yet to come) + 1.

an inspiration to many, she surely made her family very proud. may she rest in peace.

now, off at a slight tangent here, apologies if its not the time and place, but her bravery and selfless actions are in complete contradiction to the vacuous human beings that are Hilton and Victoria Beckham. yet they will get the column inches because they've got a new hair cut and will remain on the front pages long after jane tomlinson is forgotten about. but i guess that sums up society today..

God rest her soul and what an inspiration to all sufferers. I regrettably remember that a certain wave of doubt begin to be voiced about her actual illness not too long ago.People questioning that she was ill at all due to her tremendous achievements. I hope that all who thought that way are ashamed of themselves.

The body is a magnificent thing, this woman just goes to show how much someone is able to fight an illness as destroying as cancer. I think her positive mood and outlook, and all the things she kept doing helped her to survive for much longer than anyone could have predicted by looking at the relevent data for her condition.

Here's some hope and inspiration for those suffering cancer, and those people who have a loved one suffering.
