Let me get this right, two sets of front and rear with some track usage, and I'm assuming they will fit standard rims...
New bid: £120!
(As I actually need a new rear right now as it happens!)
I'll start the bidding at £100!

Sold
Edit: Sorry Steve, just too slow! If you can hang on a week or two, I should have some more - racing at Cadwell this weekend, then Pembrey weekend after. As long as weather stays dry, I should have another set or two for sale soon :)

Good form Olly, as bidding is strictly forbidden in forum rules. :D
Olly,
Can you get 180's and 120's as well?
Olly,
Can you get 180's and 120's as well?
Probably - my mate uses those sizes on his Ducati 800SS race bike - but he uses Metzeler Racetecs, rather than Pirellis. Will see if he has any going spare at the moment :)
Boing - I have another set of these ready to sell at the moment - will have more in a few weeks time, too.

Withdrawing interest as I had to buy a new tyre today due to my current one being threadbare:plod:
Olly,
Can I join the queue, please.

Silly question, but isn't the CBR a 180 rear tyre?

Narp its a 160 :)
Plowsie, I have a good set of Dunlop 207s here that you're welcome to take for free - there's loads of tread left on both
I took them off the CBR600 trackbike when I put new Rennsports on and don't like Dunlops myself so they'll never get used if I keep them.
Interested?

They're a bit of a bugger to fit, really stiff carcass.
They look sticky anyway lol
(edit, im on about the SC pros not lozzos 207's)
Rennsports are a bugger to fit too.
I have a few sets of these also, and racetecs....120 & 190 from a 1000.....
What pressures for the road?
33 front, 35 rear and then drop them from there until you find the happy place. :)

Set them to that and went out for a little spin today, didn't go far enough to actually get them hot, gave it some beans round a local bend which would usually slip a little with the avons (cold) and these weren't at all bad. Was expecting slippery horribleness cold, but I'm pleasantly suprised.
Will see tomorrow what they're like hot. :smt106

Why??
I fit them by hand just about every race meeting, id say they are the easiest, certainlt a damn site easier than 021's etc, you'd never do them without a machine

I found the SCpros really stiff, most tyres with plenty soap you can push the bottom bead over the rim by hand, not these.

thinking about it I should have at least 8 fronts and 16 rears part worn (ive not chucked any and bought 5 fronts and 10 rears the following year)
Will have a look at whats there if anyones interested

The SCpros are probably the least stiff I've seen. The beads may be very tight though. The conti road attack is magnitudes stiffer in the carcase.

Well whether it was carcass or beads, they were a git to fit.
ATS - Tenner a wheel (loose) to fit and balance while I have a coffee and watch the TV in the reception :)

What am I gonna do, take the abba stand with me and take the wheels off in the car park? :-P
Nope, ATS have paddock stands for you to use there. Just take your own tools. Carry the tyres strapped to a ruksack with bungees.

These are pretty damn good tyres, strange thing is though, they don't feel nice at all when behaving yourself, but poke them with a stick and they're ace.
