1, if its a quadraphonic record (rare) then it has two groves within one, upper and lower to give upto four audio channels.

Depends how old it is.
60s and 70s records were really groovy, but you would struggle to find anything that good from the 80s.:rolleyes:

She could be mistaken though, i have seen records with 4 groves, and not the funny type that i mentioned. Each segment of the record was broken up with joining groves at the end of the track so it would not automaticly go onto the next song but wait for someone to move the needle. Again rare.
