Knockhill Track Morning

Anybody going to knockhill on Saurtday? I need someone to play with!:rolleyes: I was up last month and I was the only SV on track.

I got fed up getting blitzed on the strights.......by everyone!:mad:

its track day in the morning then practice in the afternoon

I won't be playing, but I might pop up to watch, trackdays are better spectator sport than racing if you ask me :) Were there no 400s out there last time you went? The race tuned ones will skin a stock SV, but the standard ones are doable.

I've only been to knockhill once when it was the bikefair last year. But I'll hopefully be doing a novice session some time next year on the tzr250 :D
Do you have to pay to come and watch the trackdays?

Nah, as long as you're not in the way they've always been happy enough when I've been there.

Were there no 400s out there last time you went? The race tuned ones will skin a stock SV, but the standard ones are doable.

There was an old FZR400 but he still whipped my ass on the straights......I'm a big lad;)

see if i had of checked on here more often i would have known that the only other sv there was you and you were in my group.

Oh well, maybe next time? It was a great day but I missed the first season by 30 seconds and then the Muppet on the R1 fell off on the warm up lap!

A guy then dropped it in the holding area, I thoutght I was never going to get on track! Not much chance of having a dice with you though. You made a lot of people on GSX-Rs and other sports bikes look pretty stupid. Have I seen you racing on that bike at East Fortune or do you have a clone?

yer carlesschucca came over and said hi just as i was leaving and mentioned your name.

It was definatlely an action packed day my mate came up from newcastle and proceded to low side his r6 on the last lap at the hairpin of the very first session. He managed to crack his engine casing so that put an end to his trackday and i've ended up looking after an r6 whilst his brother drove him home in the car.

Did you see what happened with the guy on the r1 binning it on the warm up lap? How the hell he managed to do that!!!! and yer that guy on the fireblade dropped his bike right next to me so i helped him lift it back up.

There was a chap on the 675 daytona that was shocked when he realised he got passed by an sv650 lol as well as the others he he. no racing for me tho so i must have a clone

I saw it right enough, he was right in front of me! Trundling down Dufus and he spied his wife/mates and spend too long waving at them before realising there was a corner. He must have grabbed a load of front brake when he tipped it in and it just washed out. It was a pretty clean bike too….

I couldn’t believe how fast you got that bike of yours to go though, something to aspire to!

That was only my second track morning so I though I did OK’ish but I’ve reached my confidence limit. Maybe a race school day would be a good idea? Anyone been on one?
