Anyone been to Sardinia?

Ill be taking my beloved so B is out but whats wrong with the mountains?

I'm flying into Alghero and got to drive to Costa Smeraldo so the mountains will be seen by night :(

I went with the missus a fw years back. We stayed in a very sleepy little village which came alive at night. Well, the town centre did anyway. It's pretty relaxing and a nice change from the huge tourist hot spots. I think you'll enjoy it though, italian (well, sardinian) food at it's finest. Can't remember names of places for the life of me though.
