I know that some forces have ditched the black leathers and now wearing coloured leathers to blend in but not sure about Strathclyde - I'll have a dig see what i can find

Not to mention that the last time I chatted with a couple of them at a fuel stop, neither were wearing white helmets.........

i take my helmet off at the services too, and never go over 30 in a 30 zone officer lol
