Naa, its the pickup thats attached to the genny cover, next to the stator. Little black thing, held in with two bolts.
I think the problem will be that the wire is molded and wrapped with the stator wires.

Thats what confused me, I thought it was called the signal generator.

suzuki sell it as part of the STATOR ASSY, around the £200 mark.

And the part numbers are diff again for K3+, the diagram looks different too.

Slightly less of a heart attack reply,
I could buy a new engine for that money, somebody must have a spare one that I can bodge the wires from, they don't look that well glued together inside the engine case.
Chris
I do have one, but its the buggered one from my own swap.

give me a photo and i will see what i can do. Im not 100% what part your on about but a couple of pics and i should be able to find it, if its in the main wireing loom im not going to mess with it cause electrics are something i suck at but if its detachable via clips then you might just be in luck. PM me with any more questions.
cheers mate

Inside the left hand side engine cover, connected to the alternator windings.
I have got a spare one from ebay, but it still won't bloody run so its probably something else.
