Well I've had my PR2's for a while.
Can't recommend them enough. Remind me of the BT 010's.
Very confidence inspiring and good in the wet.
Been running mine at 34F 36R using a digital pressure gauge.
All those miles have been two up.
The rear has still got maybe 500 miles left in it but we're off for a long weekend so can't afford to chance it, therefore total rear mileage will have to be established on another rear.

Glad it's not only me. Thought I wasn't trying hard enough.:D
Interestingly the strips front and rear are about the same. Normally there is quite a difference. With my Diablos the fronts were less and on 010's the rear had no chicken strips at all but the front had loads.

Thanks for the info - my tyres are in need of a change - they're currently looking like this:
\_/ both F & R!
Had it pretty much narrowed down to PR2's, Z6's or BT021's but couldn't really find anything to separate them.

Thanks guys, call me thick (go on, I can take it!) but are the Michelin Pilot Sport & PR2's the same?
The ones on Busters are Pilot Sports...
Apologies in advance if I'm being a spanner here but thought it best to check before buying them!!

No they are not! I have done some research on Pilot Sports here (http://two-wheels.michelin.com/2w/front/index.jsp?codeRubrique=2092004103801&codePage=2092004103801_09092004115144&lang=EN). They dont look too bad to me.

Hmmm, ok they look pretty good. Has anyone here used them? Anything will be better than my current ones, and that seems to be a pretty good price at £117 ish a pair to be honest!

I've offered a pair to the g/f's brother who's also got an SV but if he doesn't want them I'll happily go halfer's with an 'orger?

Nope not done a track day on them, but a mate of mine who does trackdays on his R6 reckoned he might try them instead of Corsas.
As Luckypants says, pic taken after Wales Rideout, where the pace was leisurely. ;-)

2 Pairs of tyres arrived this morning - Ordered on Friday, Dispatched Tusday, Arrived today - can't be bad, oh esp as I got a cheeky little 10% discount on them too - good old Google!!)

Well, the other person that orignally wanted a pair now doesn't - so got a spare set (also listed in the For Sale bit) if anyone's interested?
£120 plus carriage (shouldn't be more than £6-7 I wouldn't think) sound fair?
where are you based out of interest. I dont really need any tyres just yet, but still interesting for people to know if they were close enough to pick up

Good point!!
I live in Carlisle but work in Dumfries (where my folks still live) so spend most of my life travelling between the two places.
Could drop them off within a reasonable distance... I'm often in Kendal/Glasgow so could easily stick them in the boot of the car when I'm there.
