I finally rebuilt my Cursed PC, hoping its hunger for destroyed components has been sated. It's looking good, but I've got a bit of an odd issue with one of the data drives. I backed it up last night using Acronis Trueimage, a complete clone. Disconnected clone drive, left the old drive attached. Now it doesn't appear in My Computer, and all my shortcuts to the drive fail. However, it shows up in Device Manager, and in the boot screen. It's a SATA drive, and there's 2 in the system- one for the OS, one for data, if that's any use. Any suggestions for what I've done to it? It worked perfectly until I took the image, so that seems a good place to start, but other than that I'm stumped.

is there an exclamation mark next to the drive in device manager? if so it may need drivers installing. you may also need to enable it (right click on it in device manager, hit enable. if it says disable then it already is enabled)

Nope, all looks fine in device manager. Sadly :)
Right Click "My Computer", select "Manage", Select "Disk Management"
You should see the disks there with their drive letter asignment, it is possable it does not have a letter assigned to it or its sharing another letter which is already in use.
Right click on the partition you want, select "Change Drive Letters and Paths" and the rest should be easy.
