View Full Version : Prince at the Millenium Tent
Went to this last night.
The gig like the man himself was a little bit.....lacking.
He started at 9pm. At 10pm he started doing the encores. The gig finished at 10.30.
That's not a gig, that should be the pre-gig warm up.
Um, Elton John sang as well.
The weirdest thing was that the audience actually sat down for most of the gig!!!! And no-one played air guitar.

Ever seen "An Evening With Kevin Smith" and the follow up.
He talks about some time he spent with Prince.

Heard Chris Moyles talking about this this morning- he was there last night too. I went a couple of weeks ago. But EVERYONE danced when I was there- and it was bloomin' awesome!!
But we didn't have Elton John!!!
Yeah, Chris Moyles walked past me with his "Sophie"....I would.
Bet it wasn't cheap neither? Am contemplating going entering the Led Zep ballot but don't know if it's worth it.

Chris Moyles?
I think he's safe, you'd never ask him out anyway.

I went in August and it was fantastic. Although it was only about an hour and 20 minutes but then the price was only £31.21 which is a bargin compared to £125 for Led Zep!

Yeah that is good. Shame it wasn't free like his album. Odd amount though?
Yeah I might go for the Led Zep tickets. Might be the only time I'll ever get to see them. Was thinking about Iron Maiden as well although I think they might be on sale already? Are they?
