Was up the Cat and Fiddle on Saturday morning, hanging round waiting for them to open so I could have a coffee, talking to a couple of friends from work whom I'd rode up there with and with an Instructor from Shires Motorcycle Training in Derby who had taken a couple of his DAS trainees up there.
Anyway a guy from the Isle of Man left the car park and nailed it back down to Buxton managing to get to 99 miles per hour. How do I know the speed? Because the camera operator got out his van and said "99 miles an hour, I can't believe it, is he f**king blind?" Obviously referring to that fact that his very bright van was parked on the opposite side of the road to the C&F and within about 20 yards of the entrance.
