Great pics folks, thanks. We seem to have temporarily lost the spare battery and charger for our camera so only have about 4 shots!

not claiming any real knowledge in this area at all, and it's only a little program that came with the camera(Photo Impressions), you know the one's that take out red eye and stuff, got Photo shop on here as well but that just confuses me, also done on the laptop which are notorious for "different" colourings, but your welcome if you're happy with it.

so what was HDR? some high res thing perhaps ?

Cheers Mark.

Arrr, I see that was what Sam was showing me on friday, the three images for highlights mid tones and lowlights combined into one image kind of thing.
think my camera is a bit dum for that ( it could of course just be the operator ).

;)

If you can in any way control the EV level then should be ok, if not then you are kinda stuffed. Then you need a bit of software to merge them all together on the computer.

see this is where I have no idea what you're talking about EV ?

Perhaps I'll look at the subject in more detail when I'm on my recovery, might even get a new camera :smt102 (although my little Cannon does me proud most of the time), would love to be able to take some really good night shots though.

Cheers Mark.
