It is good, but it takes forever. Isn't there a stronger version of it?

Autosol should start an advertising campaign and you (and Cuz) could be the faces of Autosol. Looks like you've already created the sales line there :)

Please don't take this the wrong way ...but is it really worth the effort !
Get a xj out in the winter and you will be back to square one :).
It will be a never ending job....I admire Cuz's patience and hard graft though !.

he don't even ride it but the engine is still coming out this winter for a good clean.
cleaning your bike is half the fun of owning it the more you clean it the easyer it is to clean, my favorite cleaning products are autosol, brasso, mer for easy jobs and nitromose, scotchbright and a wire brush for the hard stuff but you shouldn't need the hard stuff if you clean it regularly
I clean my bike with WD40, takes only a few seconds and then we're off again...
The dirt sticking to it is just camouflage from the scallies.
I love autosol.
I love engine degreaser.
Right now my bike is parked next to a building site getting dirt on it.....
I hate my newly aqcuired OCD.
But I do love my shiny bike.

But kids still prefer a dirty, scratched up gixxer thou, right?

I first file down the rough parts. Then use sandpaper in various grades.
Only then do I use Autosol with a cotton cloth and finally with cotton wool for a mirror finish.
For a fast result use it in combination with steelwool or a dish scrubber.
