No, it's a twin - two cylinders - two spark plugs.

One behind the rad, one just in front of where the fuel tank pivots.
You want NGK CR8E plugs, and a 16mm (IIRC) plug wrench on a short extension to do em.

I'd advise you use the tool in the toolkit provided with the bike to do it. Much better than any spark plug sockets I've used.

Can't see how your supposed to get any torque on it, I prefer my 1/2" drive set.

i change them till they are totally knackered, alot of us throw away plugs that are still perfectly fine.

As long as the porcelain insulator is in good condition and does not have any hairline cracks or chips and the electrodes are not melted or eroded there is no need to change your plugs. Just make sure the spark gap is set correctly.
Even in high performance cars standard quality plugs can last 40,000 miles or more. Premium quality plugs such as Platinum tipped are not changed until 65,000 miles. Obviously bikes rev higher so the plugs do more work. My guess would be to halve these mileage figures for the SV and perhaps a third for higher revving bikes.
