new bike exhaust systems

is it an emissions thing or am all the big manufactures just trying to make the ugly-est exhaust ever? the new blade in mcn:puker:the new z1000:puker: the gsxr1000 :puker:
probably just me but i think they look rank.

It's crazy really, as it just means more expense for the buyer as they stick aftermarket cans on. Same with number plate holders, look at the new R6, theres another £60 expense for a tailtidy.

God I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks they look dire :D It's like they thought "last decade's trend was the 916 underseat, we need to do something else, I know, a fuggin stubby triangular grenade launcher strapped to the side".

Its to do with Euro 3 emission regulations.

And yes they do look orrible.

But the pictures Kwak posted -
B-King after 1st show 6 years ago with big exhausts, Suzuki came out with prototype smaller ones & there was uproar from the public to force them to go back to bigger ones.

oopsy, it is yes, my bad.

The blade still looks orrible though and thats the 2008 bike which is Euro 3.

I guess its a personal taste thing...
