I was recently knocked off my bike and am wondering whether I can get the garage to put a nice exhaust on the bike instead of a regular OEM one. My main question is, who makes end cans for the K7. Ideally I want a hi level exhaust in black, the manufacturers I have tried either dont do this or have not developed a K7 exhaust yet.

MTC - do the black exhaust, but do not make them for the k7
Fuel - manufacture for the K7 (not sure they have tested them yet though) but don't do coloured exhausts
Scorpion - dont have a k7 exhaust yet
Micron - manufacture for the K3 - (not sure they have tested them yet for the k7 though) but don't do coloured exhausts

Is there really going to be any difference in getting the k6 exhaust for my k7? Will the Lamba sensor (so long as it doesnt get in the way of the fitting of the exhaust) make and difference to the bike ie will emissions etc be okay?

Do you mean carbon, or a black steel exhaust....please say you mean carbon :)

I havn't looked at any measurements, but would exhausts from K6 etc not fit?

Try DWR Motorcycles in Aylesbury....they'll be able to tell you what fits and if it won't they will make it fit.

I was thinking of a black powder coated like this (http://www.mtcexhausts.co.uk/gallery/index.php?level=picture&id=26). Would look nice with the black SV dont you think?

I am fairly sure that the K6 exhaust would fit as I couldn't see any noticable difference between the exhausts on the k6 or k7. The only thing that is different is the lamba sensor and being a complete numpty :stupid: means that I dont know what affect a new exhaust will have on it.

Er as a guess I would say that a lambda sensor, so long as it doesn't get in the way of fitting shouldn't make any difference and should adjust the fuelling to suit...

I am now going to show you a set to destroy all sets in my opinion
