I bought these in February this year so they were on the bike less than two months before I removed them. I've since bought an R1 which I won't be using in winter so I have no use for these. They are Oxford Hot Hands, the type that go over your existing grips so they're very easy to fit and can be removed again when the weather gets warmer. They get nice and toasty
They look brand new and include the fitting instructions, although I don't have the original box. The only thing I changed was to cut the ring terminal off the positive battery connection so I could solder it to a switched feed rather than directly to the battery -- I recommend doing this otherwise you're guaranteed to forget to switch them off at some point, resulting in a dead battery when you return! With the ignition switched feed they go off automatically with the engine.
I'm looking for £20 inc postage for them, or collect from Edinburgh and I'll knock a bit off the price.
