Anybody got any?
How waterproof are they, are they warm?
Will they give me sweaty nuts sat in lectures?

are jeans meant to be for town use? ie slower speeds or are they any good if you was to dismount the bike at a faster speed?

yC,would it not be cheaper to get cheap single layer textiles a size bigger and wear your everyday jeans under them. Probably warm, waterproof and protection.

The kevlar jeans themselves as supposed to be quite good, even at speed. But I only wear mine round town/short trips/commuting. I would prefer it if they had a zip to attach to a jacket to stop it riding up in an off - that's the main reason I wouldn't trust them at great speed (and lack of armour)

I have two pairs, one was a direct replacement for an old set of draggins, but they have changed design and now don't have pockets for armour ( just velcro backed armour instead) the other set are "Bulletproof" (and before anyone asks, no there aren't), however they do have the armour pockets and the kevlar is like a pair of extended shorts inside rather than just the patches, neither claim to be waterproof, whilest it would be possible to waterproof them (tent spray works well), a side effect is it does tend to transmit the cold a little.

Cheers Mark.

my dragging jeans got a zip on the back for a jacket and i have worn them through light showers down the M4 and they were bone dry. Wore them all weekend too, to save on space on the bike. They look expensive but are actually worth the money IMO.

I've been looking into Draggin' jeans and cheaper alternatives and my wife found some keprotec jeans on Ebay. I've no idea how good keprotec is meant to be but some websites say they are stronger than kevlar? I've been on the hunt for trousers that I can wear that has armour but not too heavy. I wear Gear textile trousers and they make me sweat on warm days when I'm going to work as i have my work trousers underneath so hopefully Draggin or similar will do it for me. Where are the best cheap places for Draggin'?

Generally you can get a good discout on Draggin's at shows

YC draggin are ok if your only needing them to go to uni and back. they are slightly waterproof.
I've rode home in sheet rain (5 miles of it) and the water had only started to get in.

Invest in some knox strap on armour if you additional peace of mind

That's what I want them for. Also, atm am getting to work and am finding changing out and into my leathers is such a farce, and I don't have a very big space to do it in. I could wear the jeans while working which would suit me just fine.

Good choice, i was going to recommened them, quite stylish and seem well made, they also have a zip on the back to zip your jacket up too as well
