Just like Robot Wars...

... only set in my bathtub rather than an arena...

... and no remote controls...

.... or Craig Charles...

... and with spiders rather than robots.

So - nothing like Robot Wars really then! ;)

Aaaaaannyway - yeah - two hulking great hairy female wolf spiders are fighting for territory in my bath. One is currently holding prime 'Plug-hole' territory whilst the other is making its plan of attack from behind the sponge at the other end.

I'm debating hoiking them both into matchboxes whilst I have my bath this evening... and then putting them back in the tub afterwards, but at opposite ends.

Give one of them a needle/pin and button as a sword and shield and the other a matchstick as a staff and film the results.

No pictures!!! I cant stand spiders :(

Although I put money on the spider not holding the plughole position winning. I like the underdog.

Put a kitten in, just to spice things up.

Yay!

Spiders are cool, especially those little tiny Zebra/Jumping spiders, they've got really good eyesight, can track you for up to a meter.
And they're a proper huning spider too, I love playing with 'em :D

You should save 'em and throw them at Alpinestarhero, just for a laugh.

Dun kill 'em though :(

Heh heh - well I put both of them in my left boot - it was all quiet on the western front for about 5 mins then they both scuttled out and fled into opposite corners of the bathroom floor!

This morning they were back in the bath and occupying the same positions - one at either end. I've moved the sponge to the middle to promote border disputes.

OK, this has now advanced to Custer's Last Stand...

... either that or one of the spider's has sub-divided itself to initiate a flaking manoeuvre!

This morning I was greeted by 'Custer', still standing their ground by the favoured plug-hole, whilst being watched over bytwo smaller spiders - one on each edge of the bath... of the other big one there is no sign since last night. Hmmmmm.

To give Custer a chance I've moved two sponges to by the plug-hole, giving somewhere secure for covering fire and a clear view of the killing fields (the rest of the bath ;)).

Will Custer survive?
Where is the other big spider - 'Sitting Spider'?
Why have Crazy Spider and Geronispidermo joined the fray?

Tune in tomorrow, on Spider Wars! 8)

There's only one answer... Fit the larger spider with a gun turret and give the little ones grenades...
