only £5350 otr !!! It has got rave reviews, i really really need one
I test-rode it back-to-back with the speed triple the other day...and although it is light and nimble, I found the throttle to be a bit too sntchy for my riding style and it felt like I was on a bicycle rather than a motorbike, which made it very flickable and the torque in third gear was absolutely amazing for a 675cc motor.
I still prefered the bigger triple for all-round usability though.

Better than an SV650?
Better than an SV650?
Lots, in my humble opinion - but then again, I am biased.

But then again, I really want an Aprilia RSV Mille.
\\:D/No, I need one, need it now!!!
I spoke to a dealer about the wait times on these as I had heard some bad things.
Kermit green - March
White or Black - February
Oh dear :(
I want one, but I must have that stumpy M4 carbon low pipe. I don't like the arrow system Triumph offer. It fugly compared to that shexsy M4.

Depends on the dealer...some of them placed orders at the launch and will have stock sooner than that.
Certainly the dealer I use will have stock soon but have already sold on pre-orders.

I spoke to Carl Rosner, Croydon.
Actually I went to go there on Saturday morning for a quick look at it and possibly a test ride...but I got lost :(

If supply cant keep up with demand then the residual value will be good.
Are they Triumph's version of the SV?

???
Triumph - triple, 100+ BHP, spanking new,
Suzuki SV - twin, 70ish BHP, been round for few years
Sorry mate I cannot see too many similarities.

Beginner bike, supposed to be a bit more user friendly than the sportier options.
Least I've heard it refered to as such, though the 675 engine is just
I'd still have the speed triple though, one of the 900cc ones before they went all flashy...

I took on for a test rode a while back and they're awsome. Not sure I'd fancy doing big mileages on one though but I guess that's all nekkids.
+1 about the motor, sounds nice too.

As far as I know (think) the Arrow is a track only exhaust anyway? Think they're working on a road version...
Oh and I saw my first one on the road this morning through lovely New Cross...cracking looking bike imo! Had a quick word with the guy...he was all smiles under his helmet, could tell from his eyes :)
Track only system suits me just fine

The Arrow is not track only; I did a back to back test ride of the Speed Triple with Arrow can and a standard Street Triple. Loved them both, 'specially the Speed with the Arrow
The Street is a great bike and amazing value, but I do think that the Speed is worth the extra money. Interesting thing seems to be the insurance groupings as from what I've seen, they are both NU14, although one source had the Street as a 14 and the Speed as a 13
I'm fairly sure that my next purchase will be from Hinckley tho' :smt045
