Just bought one of those, it's pretty straight forward to set up I thought. Nice and small too.

Yup that'll do you just fine!

Netgear stuff's normally pretty straightforward to set up, actually most stuff nowadays is (anything that's not Linksys anyway - avoid that sh!t like the plague!)

My experience with netgear, is you need to judge firmware upgrades, I have had to downgrade my FVS338 as it was incapable of achieving full throughput with later firmware.

i dont mess with firmware as i bugger'd up a £200 dvd recorder trying to upgrade it's.

Are you sure we're not twins? we've got the same tv/tv stand and now we have the same router! Bought one of these a months or so ago, easy to set up it auto detects most things you just need to put in your username and password for your network provider.

I also use the netgear router... after some initial teething problems i`m very happy with it. The fault lay with my computer rather than with the router. My local computer shop where i bought the router offered free installation plus setting it up securely. Was cheaper and a far more efficent service than i`d have got from the likes of PC world!!
