Sounds good to me. I always get great quotes from Highway, but I never see their name mentioned. I've never had any problems with them either...

Wow, that is good! What else is included in the insurance? legal cover? kit cover? breakdown? insurance on other bikes (i get third party on all other bikes, for example)?

NIG through H&R managed to undercut my cheapest quote (£350 from B****tts) on the DRZ down to £225 - i was pretty stunned as all other quotes had been £350-600.

kwak, what problems are NIG giving you, seeing as both my m/c policies are with them it'd be interesting to know - PM if you don't want to shout in public:)

I hate you.

I'm 21 with 5 years NCB, live in Reading RG30-Good and have a garage attached to the side of my house!
When I was in Afghan last year my mrs wanted to surprise me with my dream bike for when I got back, An Aprilia RSV-Mille. But not any old one. It has to be in the M&S Paintscheme.....

After much hunting she managed to find one and sorted out a price, just insurance now she thought. The best she could find was.....

wait for it.....

£3200 Full-Comp!!

She had to tell me in the end what she was up to and that she couldnt afford it anymore. I wish she hand said anything and i'd have been none the wiser!

I'm with NIG through HR and had an accident a month ago, same time as kwak, I just had the insurance company on the phone about it, now I've been told to never accept the first offer, but thier valuation was too good to say no. Their paperwork is a bit slow, and the fact that they have different companies running different parts of the claim, 1 company 4 excess insurance, 1 company for loss of earnings & legal which has appointed another company for solicitors, and nig for the actual claim

Got my insurance through A Quote.I have not had a bike for a few yrs so these prices are without a no claims bonus. My SV 650 was £85.00 fully comp, and the 600 Bandit was £105 fully comp. Not bad I thinks
