I think he will be lucky to get that for it even with all the bits on it, it seems to have been done nicely enough but it's not my thing.

I quite like that TBH. However I do love Tilla's so i'm a little biassed. Your right though. He wont get that sort of money for it.

Nicely done, but I suppose you really have to like that exhaust colouration to paint the whole bike like that.

Unsure on the bike.

Like the sound of that engine though, 128bhp @ rear wheels. Yummy......

Mild state of tune??? What can that engine really put out then?

When will these heavy-modifiers learn that their bikes are worth nowhere near as much on resale value as they would like for them? Aside from being an absolute mare to insure, it unlikely to exactly be to the tastes of whoever winds up buying it and the price needs to reflect this. £3.5K would be a fair (even slightly generous) amount IMO.

Looks a bit chavvy, but I'd buy it for half the price, if only to chuck the engine into a Spondon frame kit. Yum.

Thats like my mates nova. He spent over £20K on it.... yes £20K. And when he came to sell it he advertised it for yes... any guesses. £20K.
Surprisingly it didnt sell and has been sat outside work for 6 months rotting away. Doesnt even run anymore. We didi warn him. PMSL

Same with cars then.

Spend tens of thousands...

Retail price is no higher than a normal standard model

Hence why its easier and more cost effective (but still at a huge loss) to strip the car and either return it to standard, or scrap the shell..

Fair play it was fast for a Nova. But I just went out and bought a VXR for £18K... Really hacked him off that did LOL

I know people who've spent much more than that on a Nova/Corsa ;)

The highest "modified" road spec one was a 2.0 16v, TB, 4 pots, show cage, every nut and bolt replaced, stack dash, perspex windows etc...

Went for £8k!!!! Which was a VERY good price...

Missis's corsa has had much more than your friends nova spent on it. We don't kid ourselfs. Would be lucky to sell it for £5k....... Would get more stripping it.

But neither will happen for a loooooooooooooooooong time yet ;)

Not a LET nova/corsa though.... We've got a VXR, and a LET corsa, and an XE corsa (LET = Turbo 2.0 16v, XE = 2.0 16v NA).

VXR is nippy, but once the corsa has got traction, it pulls ;)

Nice! I love my VXR though. Wouldnt change it. Just needs a bit of a clean.

Must admit the seat looks very nice but not worth 5K.

bit of a thread derail here but i loved that nova it was amazing. Shame modded vauxhalls never really make the money when they are sold however its a different ball game with the fords. EG old mk1/2 escorts make good money, as do s1 turbo's.

I made back £6k stripping my nova after having spent £15k in total on it what a waste of money

dont like that tl tbh but i bet its fun to ride with that power. Prefer this beast myself

You alright Ian :)

Aye im on about Bretts nova. Just wished it had a real cage instead of a show one, but loved that car. I hear it got a new owner who would have taken good care of it, but i've not seen it since.

Ditto about the Hybrid DucSuki

As an aside, when I saw the thread title, I thought this was going to be that one-off custom chopper using a TL engine.
