There I was stuck in traffic when I looked to my right. That lane is separately light controlled for right turn only. And yes there he is mr cyclist sneaking up the inside past a drawbar unit.

But this one is on his mobile as he is riding and get this, towing a small trailer with a child about 18months-2 years old sat in it.

Now don't get me wrong. I couldn't give a damm about the cyclist, if he wants to kill himself, one less obstruction on the road. However, how could a responsible parent risk their child by exposing them to such a risk and riding recklessly at the same time.

obviously being a cyclist he thinks he is not going fast enough to have a serious accident

"fast enough" is where they are wrong :)

I was at a red light yesterday - to allow trafic from a side road to come onto the main road.

Eight cyclists rode up to the red light next to me & all 8 STOPPED and WAITED for the green light.

I could not believe it - not one of them tried to sneak past!

Well done cyclists. Keep up the good work.

Lets just hope he doesn't have to learn the lesson the hard way

I don't know, he could get knocked off, but the trailer is fine. He escapes with minor injuries and thinks "that could have been my child" and starts paying a bit more attention to the road. That would be an ideal outcome in my mind. :D

Well I drive an artic and one of my biggest fears are these dozy mares who have the pushchair pushed right up to the edge of the road with traffic streaming past and some little kid/kids sat unaware of the dangers literally inches from the passing traffic. Scary. Sorry for slight derail btw.

Yes, women (and it is usually women, I've never seen a man with a pram do it) who use their child in a pram as a means of stopping traffic are terrifying. I hate it when they balance the front wheels of the pram right on the edge of the road (so it's overhanging the road), too.

I have a very direct way of dealing with these idiots when at work. I stop and shout at them on the very loud PA system built into my traffic car.
Who says work isn't fun!

Does anybody else backfire the bike at them?
Saw one guy jump clean off his bike, hilarious :D

I'm sure the cyclist didn't find it that hilarious, though.

No he didn't look impressed, but his complete disregard for common sense, courtesy and the highway code at the previous set of lights meant that I was PMSL for the next mile or so

No! You lie! I never see a cyclist wait at the red lights!
