05 exhaust on a 06 model?

Yes, If you have a look at the Yoshimura US site, the part numbers for the 2006 and 2005 SV650's are exactly the same. So as long as that is what the guys is selling, you're good. Although the pic in the ebay add isn't an SV, some sort of Gixer I think. But I guess he's using it for illustrative purposes.

I am guessing you are in the US. Have you tried Kneedragger.com as they seem to be competitive on price, although it doesnt say on their site (or that I read) all the hardware to install is included!
