So, we said to Lucy, who is five and learning Spanish "Say something in Spanish". She replied "Would you like a super-sentence with a conjunction?".

I attempted to learn spanish when I was in mexico I made everyone laugh with my attempts i still remeber some, but I unsderstand more spoke or reading rather than writing!

I have lived in Spain for almost 7 years and understand very little. I have found that flaunting my tattoos,carrying a Sun newspaper, wearing an England football shirt and insisting upon a full English breakfast where ever I go, reduces my opportunities of inter acting with the locals.:confused:

When I was mexico last year I spent a week attempting to learn spainsh which was well fun but everyone else found it very funny dam it!
When I joined the expedition I tried speaking more you just have to keep speaking it, oh watch cartoons in spanish!
Really it works! I like cartoons any way got addicated to them as a kid. You start to understand what going on it begins to make sense! Not that i need an reason to watch cartoon network!
Though I have no reason to speak spanish right now, I hope soon someone day:smt023

If I may? Even easier are cartoon comics as obviously the action is not constantly moving on. I used those myself and found them very usefull.
