DVD, Freeview, Computer and PS2, all hardwired to ceiling mounted projector. Two leather sofas. Mrs Bluepete wouldn't go for the mini fridge in the corner though!

Mmmm. Internet for the partially sighted.

Excellent job, though I'm not fond of screens and sofas at right angles ;)

Can you say "Bargaining Chip"

Just remind her that if you are out on the bike/in the garage cleaning it again, you cant be in the lounge watching the .org on the telly.

Might work :)

Done it ages ago just to see if it'd work and guess what it did!!! But i didnt think anyone on here would be sad enough like me to be interested in it.... clearly i was wrong.

I had it about 7ft across x 10ft wide.

my mate just put his xbox on one of those projectors and says its ace, saw a 40" lcd the weekend (new sony bravia) i wasnt impressed, seems the bigger the screen the worse the picture on tv channels that is, xbox and pc was fine tho.

I've noticed that. The bigger the screen the more pixelated it looks.
I did watch a HD DVD the other day on one - wow! It was like looking through a window.

I'd love a proper conema setup. One day maybe.

I heard about someone playing Wipeout 2097 at the time of it's release in the cinema he worked in as a projector operator.

Lucky fecker. Just imagine playing along to the Prodigy's Firestarter with megawatts of THX gear too. Musta been awesome. :smt103

The Everyman cinema in hampstead hires out screens for just this purpose. They will also serve refreshments and nibbles, you choose what consoles to bring and what music they play too.
All if you can afford it of course.

I have a 42" T.V and some sky channel the quality is superb, others it is rubbish. Blueray DVD's are AMAZING on it though.

Maybe one day technology will catch up with itself.

I've had lots of stuff from these guys over the years,
http://www.soundandvisiononline.co.uk/

I can't recommend them enough, they are very knowlegable and helpfull. Best tip is to phone the shop, not the mail order dept to discuss your needs.
