<rant>I mean seriously, pick up a football and go outside and play with your mates, break some greenhouse windows, play knock down ginger or go for a 'burn' on your bikes.</rant>

The thing is that said I really want one and the missus won't have it, so now I'm thinking of feeding up the kids and not letting then play or do any sport, then using this article for its potential health benefits............what d'ya reckon?

As Hovis says, the boxing is properly knackering, almost as much as really sparring. I can well believe 20 minutes on the boxing each day would certainly have an effect on your weight/fitness. The only thing is, the boxing is a bit samey to keep your attention, I'd love them to remake the classic "Super Punchout" for the Wii, but using the wii sports boxing controls.

You wait mind, give it 6 months and the fickle media will have decided it's a bad idea and it's turning kids into violent thugs who, unlike most chavs, can actually punch properly.
