Very bright and what would it look like with the kit....might need a few decals to break the colour up!

Coloured seats, you'd never catch me on a bike that had coloured seats ;)
The paint scheme is very Yamaha Esque though isnt it...
dont like the red seats............. & not to fussy on the white either

Black wheels with white rim tape. And a bellypan. And seats the right colour, damn it, those are awful.
Shame the emmissions regs in Switzerland are so strict you can't actually start your bike up without a hefty fine.
And all those high altitudes soak up your power anyway.
Like the white tho.

Blue seats and wheels would look good IMO................
Or just purple wheels. They're very popular. ;)

One with a full fairing in white, some yellow flurescent stickers and chevrons. A constantly lit blue LED in the fairing, plus the rider wearing a hi-viz and white helmet - the ultimate traffic jam beater commuter bike:D:D:D
Link the LED's to a on/off timer relay for greater red brake light splitting effect....:p:p Yes very naughty I know.....
Oddly, I quite like it. Wonder if the white is in that pearl paint of the white bits of the gixer, looks good.
Would be better in K5 red mind ;)

Right.
Like that S4R Duc, nice smooth white wheels.
Those wheels are the wrong colour for that bike.
I like it! I'd change it to blue seats though..

Black engine, black wheels, black 'zorst, white (ideally inline) front indicators and black seats and it'd look quite nice.

Here's a pic of my pearl white 2008 sv650s I purchased a couple weeks back here in Canada. I'll admit I was a a bit hesitant about the red seats myself (more so because the suzuki pictures make it look pink), but after seeing the finished product (it was still in the crate when I made the purchase), I've grown to love it! It's actually more of a darker maroon color, as opposed to red. I definitely need to start by getting rid of the tail fender and hopefully change up that rear seat cushion to a solo cover to help improve the look a bit...then I'll work on everything else. I'm probably gonna keep the red seat though to stay a bit more unique compared to the typical black seat you'd see on most white bikes...and if I see more of these bikes popping up around the city, then maybe I'll go blue.

Didn't you get a white seat cowl when you bought the bike? My K8 came with the black seat cowl as standard with the pillion seat provided in a separate box. Might be worth having a word with the dealer?

yup.
that looks good,
needs a black screen, white cowl, and a smaller can, (IMO) possibly a black seat too

When I picked it up, the dealer said it didn't come with one so I emailed Suzuki to express my disappointment... so they shipped one out to me at no cost...woohoo! Here's what it looks like now with rear seat cowl, HID lamps and smoked turn signal lenses. I should be getting my FE kit and some LED turn signal bulbs in the mail sometime this week. Probably gonna wait till next season to change up the exhaust and add frame & swingarm sliders (apparently Motosliders still doesn't have one designed for full-fairing bodies yet)...then continue with more mods from there.

HID lamps? You had a conversion done then?

HID lamps? You had a conversion done then?
Yep, sure did. Makes a huge difference in road visibility at night and I've been told that I'm also more visible during the day compared to the other riders I usually go out with...so an overall increase in my personal safety. I also haven't been flashed at by other drivers even when riding down dark two-way backroads and highways so I assume the brightness isn't as blinding as one might assume. I guess with all the other HID vehicles out there, people have learned not to stare directly into the light...kinda like how common sense tells us we shouldn't stare directly at the sun.

Well done on sourcing the cowl, the bike looks loads better with it, although I must admit, I much prefer my black K8. The smoke indicator covers look good, I might have to get myself some of those puppies!
Re: crash bungs, I opted for R&G bungs in the end as they fit perfectly with the fully faired bike.

Make it blacker :geek:That's the only thing that robs it of impact, it needs black forks and a black seat and a dark exhaust. I love the white, just wish they'd finished the job!

Nope, the red seats are the same as the black seats other than the colour. You can get the red seat in lowered form as well as the black.
