because... I want to quit my job, and buy a pirate ship and live on that. I'd dress like hook and rent cabins to people for holidays: like a cruise except on an old wooden ship with lots of rum. Perfect :)
Anyone fancy a holiday? :)

I got a bit hammered the other night (on Navy rum of course) and drew up a business plan. Proabably not the most credible plan ever made.
1. Win lottery
2. Buy ship
3. (I drew a crude picture of a ship here)
I'm a bit stuck already....
When i was on holiday this year the tour operator was offering for 110Euro per person a half day on a pirate ship where you got to walk the plank and play various games whilst drinking copious amounts of alcohol.
They also said it was ALWAYS fully booked weeks in advance and you wouldnt get on it, 50 people per half day 7 days a week.
700 x 110euro = 77000 euros a week........
I say go for it ;)

There was a similar one in lanzarote the year before for 90euro.
The full day on the big catamaran is much much better aslong as you go on the adult one so theres no kids. so relaxing.

I was thinking of selling up, learning to sail and going round the world. Your idea sounds a bit more fun, except dealing with drunken young people is an awful job when you're the sober one.

You could always employ a naval architect to design a superb 10 cabin pirate ship. To pay the build costs though you'd have to win the lottery first....
But think of the money you'd make per week (especially in a tourist haven place like Spain or Majorca). The income would soon pay the boat and the expenditure that would go with it....
The girlfriend would soon find ways to spend the business profit :smt006:smt006(Gucci handbag, Porsche 911 Turbo and Donna Lewis designer clothes, etc etc).

I think I'd stick to the carribbean ;) try and avoid the drunken shaggaluf -kids route :) Surely there can't be a huge market for the 'tall ships' :)
