Errrr....there would be couples, not families, as us men would hear down the pub of what a mate went through giving birth, and think "nah, not for me...lets adopt"

Might have done....after all, the greatest inventors and scientists have been men, so I think a man probably did come up with it....
Oh sorry about the monkey reference, just been watching Pink Panther, it was the first thing that same into my head...."do you have a leesance for your minkey?"......gotta see it I suppose...

No, just sensible, after all, if you adopt, surely you get a receipt and can take the little bu**er back if he/she starts playing up?
No chance of that if you give birth...?

That would be typical of a woman - invent a way to nag at you from a distance!
then use it to have inane conversations whilst driving the 4X4 to Tesco

Man flu isn't a pain thing, nobody feels pain from colds/flu, you just feel bunged up, run down and dopey. Now this is a normal occurance for you girls (especially at THAT time of the month) so it's no biggy when you get it, we men just aren't used to it however.
The same is true for men and pain, we're used to hitting ourselves with hammers, taking our knuckles off whilst undoing that tight bolt and generally being in pain so it's no big deal, you girls bump yourself when your doing something and we never hear the end of it.
So basically it's just down to conditioning!
I'd gladly swap this effin cold for a broken finger, havent managed to find a doctor or hospital specialising in this though!

sounds familiar!

Ah, but you didn't hear the background to that idea did you?
The Brantano womans husband one day said to her in a huff "You've got far too many shoes, we might as well turn the house into a shop!"
So she did, that way, she can be in a shop whilst not being far from the kitchen (sorry, had to ;) ). Then she found that her friends wanted to buy shoes from her shop, so she opened more shops (afterall, her friends didn't want to buy HER shoes).
So the husband is a genius. He said one sentence to his wife, and he's managed to give women something to do that doesn't involve nagging their husbands half to death. Someone give that man a pint!
Right, that settled, 'scuse me, I'm off to bed, got a terrible flu...

Man flu - never had it. I get a runny nose (not fun when riding :D) and painfull sinuses, but thats about it. My dad had real flu once, he was in bed for 3 days, only surfacing for xmas dinner and a go on my (then) new guitar.

She was the first to observe radioactivity I think. Look where that led too, destruction of two major cities in japan!

Could quite easily have been done with a "Blue Cross Sale" ... devastation would have been "absolute" if you'd thrown in a few check-out operators with PMT :smt103 :smt077 ;)

Man-flu - It's all down to genetics.
The gene that gives resistance to flu is on the X chromosome.
Men have one - XY
Women have two - XX
Therefore, women fight off the flu twice as well as men, that's my story, I've got PhD and I'm sticking to it!!
P.S. The shopping gene is also on the X chromosome.
I'm 6'3" and 16 stone, hence i get bigger germs than a female...fact ;)

This must mean that the flirting gene is on the Y chromosome!

Men go out with a t-shirt on, get drunk, spend 3 hours trying to get home in the rain, get ill.
Girls get headaches when they don't want to do things
:)
I got told the other day, men are all a bit retarded, women are all a bit mad. My sisters still young but seems to understand it better than me!
