A mate of mine shaved his head (mohawk/mohican style), and grew a goatee whilst he was sailing from Liverpool to Cuba ... This was done for a bit of fun amongst the crew (of one of the "Clipper Ventures" boats) ... However, for every upside - he was never bothered by prostitutes or drug dealers in Cuba - there is a downside - he was almost strip-searched by the local police! :-o

She doesn't mind me having a full beard and sees me with that, it's when I shave most of it off, leaving a goatee that she doesn't like it. Still it's all coming off (full beard at the moment) at some point this week: Off snorkelling next week and you don't get a good seal on the mask with facial hair.
