OK, remember I hit things with hammers!

So, I've taken a few videos of the college riding lessons this morning and want to stick 'em all together as a single movie.

I've only got Windows Media Player on my laptop, it'll play them fine, but can I join them up using that?
Do I need to get some other (really simple and preferably free) software instead?

Help please - simple instructions only! ;)

I think you can do this with Windows Movie Maker (if you have that on ya laptop?), otherwise, what format are they in? mpg? avi? Maybe try having a look (Google) for "mpg/avi joiner" or "joining movie files into single file"?

I've just done a quick search and found this ->

Hope it's of some help K

Pedro's right, Movie maker will do it, just drag and drop the clips into the timeline at the bottom of the window and hey presto, the little men in the machine stitch them together for you. 'Tis wichcraft I tel ye!

Cool, thanks fellas. Found it lurking in the depths of my 'pooter and have now got two lovely 10 & 18 minutes films.

Unfortunately they are too big to upload to You Tube  so I'll just dump them to CD and then the rest of the class can just borrow that.

Embarassed equine degree students will now both thank and curse you. ;)
