If this was an adult I would still think the guy a complete knob and in need of prosecution. IMHO that should result in a ban. This is a very stupid thing to be doing on the open road where there are plenty of other dangers to contend with, without adding to them. There is a perfectly good pillion seat on the bike in question, use it.

:stupid:

I remember reading about a couple addicted to heroin a few months back. They thought it would be a good idea to give their child methadone to keep her quiet. The child was subsequently taken into care as the parents were deemed to have put her life at risk. This clown has also made a decision which has put the life of a minor (as in child, not coal ;) ) at risk. Why should he be treated any differently?

You actually think the kid would be better off in care?!

Thankfully, we DON'T live in a society where legal decisions are made by the majority. If we did, we'd still have witch hunts.

Well not directly, but we are a democracy, and we voted in people to make the decisions of what is legal and what isn't, so I guess I think we do indirectly have legal decisions made by the majority. If something is a witch hunt or not is surely an 'eye of the beholder' question, its just a belief or view? If the majority decided the right course of action was what you would describe a witch hunt, well...that's still just your view isn't it? The majority wouldn't have that view in that case. What I'm getting at is that's the point of a democracy...
I'm not trying to be antagonistic btw, I'm just saying the above cos the discussion led on to democracies without people (seemingly) fully appreciating what that means.

it'd be funny if the next bike he bought was an sv & he came onto the site to say, "Hello" & "What are the correct tire pressures" etc....

We still have witch hunts. Just nowadays we have different witches!
